This will give the number of square feet to be painted. Divide this by 360 (number of square feet to the gallon swp covers in two coats) and the result will approximate the number of gallons of swp needed for the job. Then one-sixth of this quantity will represent the amount needed for cornices, trimming, etc. The same amount should be allowed for the sash.
