Then, in his adulthood, he watched sci-fi movies including Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Star Gate, and continues to watch new release sci-fi movies. He has always loved English literature and started writing romantic poetry, graduating to his first non-fiction book in 2003. Retiring from a career of forty years in the public service, he is now writing full time applying his past martial arts training and his interest in science as well as science fiction, to write believable and exciting sci-fi stories.
