From deep in the vaults comes a digital re-release of their unplugged jazz LP from 1982 featuring their interpretations of the music of Duke Ellington and Fats Waller. As a special treat, the additional bonus tracks comprise the entire Jonathan & Darlene Disco Singles Collection from 1979 as originally premiered on the Dr. Demento Radio Program.History: Jonathan & Darlene Edwards 1957 debut album awarded them a 48 star review in Downbeat Magazine. Their second recording, Jonathan & Darlene In Paris won them the 1960 Grammy for best comedy album. Though this award category somewhat bewildered them it nevertheless continued a 25 year recording career which culminated in this final album, originally released in 1982. When Jonathan & Darlene Edwards put their indelible mark on any style of music its very hard to erase! Its difficult to imagine how Duke, Fats, and Billy would have reacted to these performances!Additional Info: Liner Note Authors: Hans Groiner; Paul Weston.
