Alex (Callan McAuliffe), a young Ukranian immigrant, moves to Toronto in search of greater opportunities, but soon finds that life in Canada has its own troubles. He takes refuge in his computer and uses his skills to join the online criminal organisation, DarkWeb. Working with his two partners, the young online criminals attract the attention of both the authorities and the dangerous forces behind DarkWeb. The three soon find themselves on the run relying on their wits and hacking abilities to stay alive and keep the money they have made over the ears.
