Sometimes the lives of the stars are more illuminating behind the scenes than they are in front of the cameras. In fact when powerful Hollywood producer Mel Wexler cast his glossy new television series, Manhattan, he didn't figure that the private lives, and individual secrets of the stars would be more interesting than any script his writers could dream up. Wexler, still trying to recover from the accidental deaths of his wife and children, starts the healing process by rekindling an old romance with the star of Manhattan, the stunning Sabina Quarles.
